All you need to know about HK’s biggest celebration for Holi
A-Desiflava Rang Barse 2023, is Hong Kong’s biggest Holi festival celebration event happening on 11 March 2023 at Garden Plus, Pui O, Lantau. You will be playing holi with over 600 Hong Kong locals, can you imagine what its going to be like?
Hong Kong’s favourite bollywood DJ’s, Raz and Hiro will make sure you are tapping, thumping, bumping and bouncing to your favourite bollywood numbers. Alongside our favourite DJ’s, Hong Kong’s talented singers Gaurang Soni and Mehdi Hasan Naizi, will be performing live, the mashup will be the most unique and different experience for celebrating Holi.
Unlimited colors, Drinks, Kids Section, Live Games counters & Food Counters, this event promises you the real Indian Holi Fun in HK, with your friends and family.
Here’s the performances schedule for your 6 hours of non-stop Holi Dhamaal :
11:00 am – 1:00 pm : 2 hours
Event Opening by DJ Hiro
At the event opening all guests will be provided with their packets of gulal colors. Hong Kong’s most versatile and talented performer, DJ Hiro will open the first set and will begin by playing some groovy Hindi bollywood songs with a mashup of Holi specials, punjabi tracks and some famous 90’s hits.
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm : 1 hour
Live Performance by Sensational Singing Duo Gaurang & Mehdi
Hong Kong’s local talents, Mehdi Hasan Naizi & Gaurang Soni will entertain the crowd with their mesmerizing voice and energetic Live Performance. Get ready to groove to the best of bollywood songs performed live on vocals by these two talented HK singers. While we all would like to build back our energy and grab some drinks and food, we will invite a special dance performance by Go Pichu Kids. We need all kids attending the event to come together in this hour and play with their parents in the main arena.
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm : 2 hours
Bollywood on Fire with DJ Raz
Hong Kong’s famous and well-known DJ Raz will take on the next 2 hours to pump up the audience with your latest party bollywood tracks with a mix of Holi Specials.
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm : 1 hour
Karaoke to End
Its hard to say good bye, we won’t let it loose, and won’t let the energy drop. In this last one hour session we will invite guests to take on the mic and sing their favourite songs while their friends can join along.
I’m sure you’ve got many questions pertaining to the event, so we’ve compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions :
1) Is this event suitable for kids?
Yes 100%. Its a family event. There will an inflated bouncing castle, trampoline and live game counters for kids to play and 2 members from our team will be assigned to look after them at all times, so that the parents can enjoy and have fun. Our team members can only keep a watch on the kids but their safety absolutely remains your responsibility.
2) Best way to reach the venue?
From Mui Wo :
Take Bus No. 1,2,A35,3M and get off at the bus stop Lo Wai Tsuen. Our venue is right behind this bus stop. You can see our event flag or banners to guide you inside the main arena.
From Tung Chung :
Take Bus No. 3M get off at the bus stop Lo Wai Tsuen. Our venue is right opposite this bus stop. You can see our event flag or banners to guide you inside the main arena.
Please put Garden Plus, Lantau Island in your google maps and follow the directions to come, by bus, car, taxi or even walking if you prefer to.
3) What is inclusive in the ticket price?
Unlimited Dance and Music Fun, Access to Food, Games and Kids Area. Also includes 1 packet of Gulal Colors (organic colored powder). You can bring your own Gulal Color Powder Packets, but please make sure they are organic. All kids who are above 5 years and have bought tickets will be given a free Water Gun Shooter at the venue.
Game tickets, Food and drinks is not included in the ticket, you need to buy at respective counters.
4) What is not allowed inside the venue?
You cannot carry your own food, snacks, alcoholic drinks and beverages. Only water and food for kids below 5 years will be allowed. Anyone carrying their own food or drinks will be requested to leave outside the venue. There will be food and drinks counters inside the venue, then why take the hustle of carrying it with you?
5) What if it Rains?
If it rains, its even better. You would love the event more if it rains. So please pray it rains on that day.
6) Shower, Changing rooms and toilets?
Shower – You can bring your towel and changing clothes. But getting a full shower might be difficult, as there are only 4 showers in the farmhouse. We have arranged for three huge water drums with buckets provided at the venue. You can do your basic face & body but surely not like proper shower.
Changing Rooms – Its a farmhouse.There will be 2 makeshift changing rooms, one for gents and one for ladies. Both changing rooms will be supervised and handled by Adesiflava staff to make sure its safe in there while you are changing and also it does not get overcrowded.
Toilets – There will be 2 makeshit toilets, one for gents and one for ladies. Its a single occupancy toilet, so you need to be patient and queue up. Both toilets will be supervised and handled by Adesiflava staff to make sure its it does not get overcroweded and too dirty. There is public toilet with over 10 people occupancy at the same time, but its a public toilet and you can also access this toilet if required and on urgency basis. Re-entry to the event venue is allowed with Adesiflava wrist bands.
7) How to redeem online purchased tickets?
You need to show your PAID pdf’s on your phone or printed papers. Our team will scan the QR code on the pdf’s and you will be allowed to enter.
8) I have purchased tickets for my friends, do we all need to enter at the same time?
Yes you should try to. But if not possible, then you can send the PAID pdf’s to your friends who might not be entering together with you. But please make sure the person who has booked the tickets is also attending the event. The tickets are strictly non-transferable.
9) Kind of crowd expected?
We will only allow family crowd and will not allow any single groups of men at this event. Also, anyone found in an unsuitable condition before entering the venue, will not be allowed to enter inside the venue. We don’t want any alcoholics or nuisance creators.
10) Food & Drinks counters how to use?
At the venue there will be a separate designated area for all food and drinks counters. You will need to purchase coupons and redeem from the respective counter using your coupon.
11) Is the event at a beach?
No. The event is not at a beach. Its at a private farmhouse located in Pui O Village, Lantau Island. Organising a Holi event on a beach is not allowed and the event can be interrupted anytime by the police.
12) My child is 7 years old, do i need to buy a ticket?
Yes, everyone above the age of 5 years will need to purchase a normal ticket. We don’t have any discount on kids ticket. Only kids below 5 years can enter for free with their parents.
13) I didn’t get my confirmed paid ticket after making fps payment?
You can contact Gary on 9543360 and he will send you the Paid PDF copy for your ticket. After you have made the fps payment to 95433660, you are supposed to send your payment proof by whatsapp to the same mobile number. Once the payment is received in the bank, we will issue you a paid ticket pdf proof to you on email or whatsapp.
14) Can we bring our own booze?
Sorry but no outside food and drinks will be allowed inside the venue. There will be a separate counter for alcoholic drinks. But, you need to purchase at the venue.
15) Why are the ticket prices changed, many of my friends got their tickets for only HK$175?
Our early bird offer of 175 per ticket was only for limited amount time. As an event company we always increase the ticket prices depending on the demand, space availability and many other factors that cause and increment to our event organizing cost. In future whenever there is an A-Desiflava event, please make sure you book your tickets immediately during the offers.
16) Bus pick up and drop location and can we leave the event early even if we have paid for our return bus tickets?
Pick up and drop off will be at Tung Chung Temporary Bus Terminus. Its 2 min. walk from Tung Chung MTR, and is located right behind the 3M bus stop, across the street or across the street to Discovery Bay bus, DB01R bus stop at Tung Chung MTR. You need to go to the other side of the road crossing from the traffic light and then right turn from there. You will see many private buses standing there. Refer to below photo for your reference.
The bus will drop you right outside the venue entrance gate and will also pick up from the same spot on your way back to home.
If you will like leaving early, you need to book your own taxi or can leave by public bus. But we cannot cancel your return bus ticket.
17) What is the ticket cancellation, transfer and refund policy?
All tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Once you have purchased your tickets, they cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
18) What kind of games will be there for all?
Try your luck – High & Low, Make Double and triple on numbers you bet upon.
Ring Luck – Throw the ring on the items you would like to win.
Break Cups with Balls – Break the pyramid made by cups.
19) At the event can we pay by Octopus, FPS or Payme to purchase food and drinks?
Since there will be over 500 people, it would be best if you bring enough cash with you, to save time for everyone. The food & drinks counter by Garden Plus can accept octopus, fps, visa & payme. Whereas, the counters of Kailash Parbat and Games will only accept cash.
